Flip-Up Armrests

The armrests adjust in sync with the backrest angle. It can also be flipped up, offering easier access and greater convenience for the user.

Footrest & Calf Pads

The footrest automatically elevates and adjusts in sync with the backrest angle, while the cushioned calf pads provide lasting support for users during extended use.

Reclining Lever & Attendant Brakes

Press down the reclining lever to recline and tilt-in-space with ease. The attendant brakes provide caregivers with greater control and safety, allowing them to slow or stop the wheelchair as needed.

Recline & Tilt-in-Space

Recline & tilt to accommodate different comfort and medical needs

Ideal for Regular Seating & Daily Activities

A 90-degree upright position is the standard seating posture in a reclining wheelchair. This position provides optimal support for the spine, promotes good posture, and allows for maximum engagement in daily activities such as eating, reading, socialising, and working.

Comfort While Maintaining an Active Posture

A slight recline and tilt offer a comfortable yet functional seating position, reducing pressure on the lower back while allowing the user to stay engaged in daily activities. This position is particularly beneficial for individuals who experience discomfort when sitting fully upright for long periods but still need to remain active and attentive.

Medical Needs & Pressure Redistribution

A 170° recline brings the user close to a nearly horizontal position, providing significant relief for pressure points and enhancing circulation. This angle is often used in medical settings or for individuals who require extended pressure redistribution to avoid skin sores or other discomfort caused by prolonged sitting.

What is the expected delivery time for my wheelchair?

Large Items

We will contact you to arrange delivery of your item(s) on a given day and we regret that we cannot give you an exact time for delivery. Delivery usually takes place between 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. We are unable to deliver at specific times (e.g. at 9am, before 5pm, after 7pm etc.).

Can the wheelchair fit in my car boot?

It depends on the dimensions of the wheelchair and the car boot. Our wheelchairs are lightweight and foldable.

Most of them have a foldable backrest design and some models have other features such as removable or flipped up footrests which allow the wheelchair to take up even less space, fitting most car boots. You may wish to proceed to our retail stores to try out the wheelchairs.

How to choose a wheelchair?

Step 1

Answer the following questions while referring to Wheelchair or Pushchair comparison sheets.

Qn. 1: Does the user require specific functions such as elevating footrest, tension back?

If yes, please refer to our Elevating Series for those specific requirements.
If not, please refer to other series and proceed to the next question.

Qn. 2: How is the user going to use the wheelchair?

Please take a look at intended function of each series.

Step 2

Once the series is identified, please compare their respective specifications.

Commonly asked specifications include:

  • Seat width – how wide is the wheelchair seat
  • Weight capacity – how much weight can the wheelchair support
  • Net weight – how heavy is the wheelchair
  • Overall width – whether the wheelchair can fit through door frames and corridors
