We recommend that users clean the item before use.
Steps:
1. Remove humidifier bottle and tubing.
2. Wash bottle with warm soapy water (use mild detergent).
3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
4. Disinfect:
Soak the bottle in a solution of 1 part white vinegar : 3 parts water for 20–30 minutes OR use hospital-grade disinfectant if available.
5. Rinse again until no smell of vinegar/disinfectant.
6. Allow all parts to air-dry completely before refilling.
Check weekly:
Bottle for cracks or discoloration.
Tubing condition (replace if yellowish, stiff, or cracked).
